Ashley + Ezra | A May Wedding at Dugas Park

Weddings Engagements

It’s wedding season again, and I’m not mad about it!!

On the morning of May 4th, there was a big discussion up on the hill at Dugas Park.  That conversation featured various thoughts about whether Ezra would just tear up, totally lose it, or maintain composure as he watched his beautiful Ashley walk down the aisle on her father’s arm.  You’ll have to check out the photos below to see Ezra’s reaction.  What I’m positive is that on this day, and every day, he is so thankful that he found a career with The Win Crew – Real Estate Team.  You see, that’s where he and Ashley met.  The rest as they say, is history.

Another thing that stood out to me was the closeness of both Ezra and Ashley’s families.  They were all over the place helping the bride and groom, and each other.  When you have the support of family and friends, there’s not much out of your reach.  These two definitely have that blessing.  And speaking of family, let’s add some sentimental value.  If you were in Scottsville last Saturday afternoon, and heard a bell ringing, and not at the top of the hour, you weren’t mistaken.  Ezra’s family started a new tradition since he is the first to marry.  That bell will ring at the recessional of each Baker child’s wedding.  And it isn’t just any old bell.  It is from a retired steam locomotive and belonged to his beloved, late grandfather.  Ezra’s mother inherited it and had it beautifully restored.  Traditions are an important part of our lives, and I loved this one.

Ashley and Ezra, your wedding was a photographer’s dream.  The love you share was evident from the moment I arrived until I left, and you both were so kind to me and everyone around you.  Each time I think about your beautiful day, I smile.  Editing your photos allowed me to relive your day, and I hope you will enjoy reliving it for years to come.  Love and blessings,   Pat
