Abby is a loving wife, mom, mother-in-law, and now grandmother, and I can think of no better gift to surprise her for her birthday than a family session so she can show off her crew. Family is important. We are all torn this way and that with our careers, social media and a thousand other things that compete for our attention. However, at the end of the day, family and the love and memories we share are what matters. I remember Shawn and Hannah as children, and it’s hard to believe that they are both parents and have beautiful families of their own. I think I say a thousand times a day that time is flying. And it is.

The White Family is just an awesome family to know. They are such kind-hearted, salt of the earth people and they all work together to care for the little ones, the next generation to experience the joy and love of this family. As I watched the easy banter, the casual way they laugh and tease each other, I was touched and so thankful for the little ones to see and be able to grow up in a loving atmosphere. We who have this are blessed in ways we don’t even think about. When I see the struggles of so many children who don’t have the love and support that every child deserves, it makes me ultra-aware of the blessings so many of us enjoy.

White Family, you were such a blessing for me to photograph. Your family is loved by so many in our community, and you are an example of not only a genuinely loving family, but also of the American dream. You’ve built a life around the people you love, your careers, and you are now sowing fruitful seeds with the next generation. Happy birthday Abby. I hope you enjoy this present for years to come.
