What a gift to find the one whom your soul loves….

Those of us who have lived through several trips around the sun are always amazed all over again when we see love blossom.   It’s a gift as old as time itself, but is new again and again when we see it through the eyes of those who have found it.  There is no doubt in my mind that Mckinley and McKenzie have that look.  You know, the one where there’s just quicker twinkle in the eyes, and deeper smile, and something else that you can’t quite put into words. It’s a blessing from above.  And even without the looks I just described, the fact that Mckinley was willing to put on a long sleeve shirt and hug his girl in bright sun on an August afternoon …. that just tells us all we need to know.

McKenzie and Mckinley, I wish you amazing success and joy that lasts a lifetime.  I hope you always remember how you feel right now, and that you take in all the flurry of activity that surrounds being engaged.  And most of all, I hope you navigate the task of becoming one with grace and continued happiness.  You are both amazing!  I’ll always be over here cheering you on and praying for your future.  Love and blessings,  Pat
