Julie just wanted to sit at home alone and watch movies. But Tyler wasn’t having it. Watching their eyes glitter as they told me the story of how their romance blossomed warmed my heart. Julie had just finished school, and she was tired. But she had met her match when it came to persistence. Tyler finally just called her up and said, “We are going for ice cream.” Who could refuse ice cream? Right. And the rest is history. They are perfect together.
That young man has stolen her heart and there’s no going back. That’s the way it happens. Sometimes it’s a flash romance and you know right away, and sometimes it takes a minute, and then you fall head over heels. One thing is for sure, Julie’s adoring eyes only focus on him, and he knows it. That smile he gives her says all there is to say. Well that, and him doing pictures in freezing cold, and changing outfits too. When I asked, “Isn’t this such fun?” His, “Yeah buddy” made me laugh, and also reminded me just a little of the hilarious and truthful young man who came through JEBMS a few years ago. It’s a blessing for me to see our students grow up and fall head over heels in love. As a 7th grader, I’m pretty sure Tyler would have never thought he’d be willing to freeze for an hour just to make a pretty girl smile. But he did, and I’m so pleased with the results.
Julie and Tyler, I loved doing your engagement session, chilly air and all. You are beautiful together, and I hope you have the most beautiful, perfect wedding ever. Time will fly by and before you know it, you will be Mr. and Mrs. I wish you mountains of joy, valleys of sweet peace, and most of all years of love. Love and blessings, Pat
