What a difference one year can make! Last year at this time, I hadn’t even met Leah yet, and Stephanie and I were working hard to find a time between both our crazy spring schedules to do engagement pics, and this year, we are taking pics of little ones. For both her and her brother. And Abu is over the moon with her two grand daughters, who seem more like sisters than cousins. You don’t even have to take my word for it; look at her face in these pics with her granddaughters. You won’t have to second guess about it.
And isn’t that how life just spins around a couple of times and changes on us all. Both the sad and beautiful part of life is that it always changes. The seasons of our life and of time come and go, but one thing is constant; that things will change. I think that tells us to love every person, and every moment that we have. And it also tells us that if we are in a valley, that will change too. I know one thing, little ones make the world spin a little different for the families who are lucky enough to experience that joy. There’s just something different about Sunday afternoons after a baby is born. It’s amazing how the littlest things cause deep conversations. The beauty of life really is reflected in the face of a child.
Sharon, Stephanie, and Leah – thank you for letting me spend a little time with your girls. They are both insanely precious and beautiful. I love their personalities, and how their sweet smiles crinkle all the way to their deep eyes. I can’t believe how much they’ve both grown, but I know you can’t believe it even more. You are lucky to have them; and they are lucky to have you all. Love and blessings, Pat
Pat,
You are indeed gifted with the ability to create an image through your words, as well as your photos. Through weddings, babies, and now cousins growing up, I still get a thrill when I see you have posted new pics. I know they will be amazing, and leave my heart singing.
Thank you for all you are, all you do, and all the heart you put into it.
Love,
Sharon
Thank you so much Sharon. I appreciate your kindness and I know you are the best Abu ever!!!
