Sometimes it’s just awesome, and that’s how Natalie’s session unfolded last week at Fountain Square Park in downtown Bowling Green. She arrived with her sweet, little dog, Zoe, in tow and her friend, Michelle, came to keep up with her until we were ready for her part of the session. Zoe was so involved with everything going on at the park, that she was not interested in pictures, but we got some great ones anyway. I am such a sentimental person, and I loved that Natalie wore the same romper as her mom did for part of her senior pics. Zoe didn’t seem to mind that there was a Winnie the Pooh on the bib pocket either, so it worked out well. And those pics are some of my favorites.
I hadn’t met Natalie before our session, but I immediately fell in love with her sparkling and spirited personality. She was nervous for about 1.5 seconds and then it was game on. We had a blast and as always, I had to work hard to be reasonable with the numbers rolling up on my CF card. We had to work around quite a bit of construction on the square and in the surrounding allies, so that called for a bit more creativity. I am so happy with how they turned out, and Natalie was a fantastic model.
Natalie, I just met you, but it feels like I’ve known you forever. You just have the kind of energy and life about you that made it feel that way. I know you are going to do great things with your life and I wish you the very best as you graduate in a few short weeks. You are beautiful inside and out, and I hope one day our paths will cross again. Until then, blessings to you! XOXO, -Pat
