When you chase natural light (which means you sometimes have to just deal with what Mother Nature throws your way), and have a couple whose schedules are just as crazy as mine, you do pictures on the one day that it finally works out. And what you can’t see in these pictures is that it was INSANELY hot and humid, and all of us, especially me, were fighting allergies. That’s what I love about my couples; they make it work. We moved fast because I knew none of us would last long in the bath we were inevitably taking just by being outdoors.   Katlyn and Forrest are a beautiful couple, but that alone doesn’t make a beautiful photo. Dedication and emotions play a huge role. This couple was awesome; you can see that they were committed what we were doing.  I’m pleased with how the photos from this shoot turned out.

And little Trace. Their son is precious. He cooperated so well even though he was hot and couldn’t knock the yawns. I had to include one because he’s such a doll, and I’m already smitten with him. I can’t wait to get more shots of him when their wedding rolls around in July.   I watched how they interacted with him and I can tell that they are loving, doting parents. He’s a lucky little boy and he doesn’t even know it yet.

Katlyn and Forrest, thank you for hanging with me on this session. You guys are a beautiful couple, and I appreciate you trusting me to capture moments from this special time in your life. I can’t wait to photograph your wedding next month.
