Adalynn. A beautiful name for a little girl who is already so loved.

I’ve literally watched this couple grow up from middle school age on, and while it doesn’t seem real that they are about to be parents, I know they will be an awesome mom and dad. I think if Adalynn has her mom’s beauty and her dad’s hilarious sense of humor, that would just be the perfect combination. I just kept telling Kara how much she glowed, and it’s amazing how that just happens when you are so excited and happy. We say all the time that our inside feelings show up in unexplainable ways, and when you see this pretty mama to be, it’s so evident.

And I can’t pass over complimenting Cody either. He’s the typical guy; loves his girl, but could do without the pics. Kara couldn’t decide if Cody would make it through a full hour session, or if she should reserve the mini. He surprised us both, and was still smiling after a few minutes past an hour. I pointed out that he had made it the full hour, and then saw golden light in our field. He handled it like a champ. I think he might have already realized that for the time being, he’s about to be outnumbered. Either way, great job Cody; you are going to be an awesome dad.

I hope that one day Adalynn sees these pics and realizes how excited her parents were. I hope she knows that she was adored before they even saw her face. Cody and Kara, here’s to the awesome parents you are going to be, and to the love, laughter, and patter of small feet that a little one brings to a family. Love and blessings, Pat
