It’s spring in Scottsville, and we found the blooms to prove it….. some laughter and love too.
Haley and Connor came with her family last fall, before they were engaged, and I knew then that they were the sweetest couple. So I wasn’t surprised when this beautiful couple soon made an engagement “Facebook official.” What they’ve figured out is something that is incredibly important, that you need to like the person you love. That it’s a super plus, if they are your best friend. It was just a blessing to listen to their easy banter, the way they talked about their life and how they are overcoming a temporary long-distance relationship. Haley will eventually move to Greenville. For now, it’s stolen time when their schedules allow, and lots and lots of planning for when the miles won’t matter. Those of us who have lived plenty of years realize that those times will pass more quickly than it seems, but when you are young, life seems to happen too slowly. But before you know it, this time in your life will be a sweet memory.
Haley and Connor, thank you for allowing me to photograph your engagement session. You were so open and willing to do anything I asked. It made this session such a joy for me, and I hope you enjoyed it too. I’m so excited for the future you are building together. Your love is refreshing, and your beautiful personalities are too!! You deserve every joy, and I know you will persevere over the many obstacles life throws at all of us. I’m wishing you so much happiness and lots of joy as you move forward with your dreams and plans. Love and blessings, Pat
