A wedding is a beautiful thing. It’s the blending of lives and a promise forever.
Erika planned, saved, and worked for her sweet wedding for months, and I was blessed to be a part of it. There was a flurry of activity when I arrived, and before you knew it, Erika was walking down the aisle with her dad. She and Tyler said “I do” and were off to their future together. I think it can be quite deceiving to see wedding photos and easy to think that everything just falls together. Certainly lots of planning and strategic decisions make things go smoothly, but there are no little birds and sweet mice flurrying around creating a bit of magic. But magic is there nonetheless. Because those of us who love deeply know that love is one of God’s greatest gifts to us.
I remember Erika from when she was a sweet student at JEBMS. She’s grown up into a lovely, hard working young lady. She and Tyler make the perfect couple. I could immediately tell that he has the kindest soul and would do anything for you.
Erika and Tyler, I wish you nothing but happiness and joy. I know it rained buckets and the North Pole made a surprise visit and limited our outside pictures, but I hope you have the best memories of your wedding. And even more, I hope you two grow old together with a sweet family. Love and blessings, Pat
