We literally didn’t decide for certain that we could do this session until just a couple of hours before it began.  Such is the life of a Kentuckian in the spring, or in any season really.  There’s a saying, “If you don’t like the weather, just wait a bit, and it will change.”  And change it does.  OFTEN.   We threw out several locations that would also have been beautiful, but then opted to stick with an area that we knew would work with the wet weather all around us, (you guessed it), Port Oliver.

Ada and Devin are the sweetest, and most hilarious couple.  They made me laugh so many times during  our hour together.  At the same time, they each know exactly who they are and how they want to live their lives.  They are grounded in reality, and full of appreciation of each other, with plenty of humor splashed in.  It’s just the perfect combination.  I’ve known Ada Beth for years, and I have to say that in my mind, Devin is the perfect completion of her personality.   You two take things as they come and figure out how to navigate what life throws at us.  That’s such an important character trait for success in both a marriage and life in general.

Time is flying and I can’t wait to photograph your wedding in late June!  With you two, I’m expecting lots of joy, laughter, and plenty of love and full realization of how precious this time of your life truly is.  It’s an honor to be a part of your celebration!!   Take it all in and enjoy every celebration.  I’ll see you soon.    Love and blessings to you!!!   Pat
