I’m so excited to share this gorgeous couple’s engagement post!  I remember the first time I saw them. Hannah was sitting in Austin’s lap, hugged up to him during a downpour at his brother’s beautiful wedding last summer. I knew then that this beautiful couple was completely in love, and when they booked their 2020 wedding with me, I was super excited. They have already experienced a whole wedding day with me, and I appreciate them trusting me with their own day next year.

Hannah and Austin are so easy to photograph, and their sweet natures make it even more fun. Austin has already figured out that with a relationship you give and take. Pics aren’t really his thing. “I just go along with whatever,” he said with a smile. And he did – with a smile. Engagement sessions are almost as long as senior sessions, and he handled it all. No doubt he loved hugging his beautiful girl too; that always makes it easier. We walked a mile all over the place, and both Hannah and Austin were up for anything going.  That made photographing this session such a joy for me.  I love finding the right light to create photos without flash – using what we have straight from Mother Nature and making it work.  Sometimes at the end of the day, I have to pop up a flash, but on this day – the sun set beautifully, and we stayed nearly to the last light.

Hannah and Austin, you are an awesome couple, and the way you appreciate and consider each other is so important in the love you share continuing to deepen and grow.  Your love is refreshing to everyone around you!  It was my absolute joy to capture this important moment in your life and I can’t wait to be a part of your wedding next fall at Elkin’s Grove.    Love and blessings,   Pat
