A wedding is one of life’s best blessings, and it doesn’t matter if it’s 75 degrees and sunny, or 55 and rainy. Alyssa and Trevor’s wedding was the latter, but it was a beautiful celebration of love and hope for the future. The Welch-Reece wedding was the joy of two families who know that their child has found their soulmate. What greater earthly gift could a parent ask for? And both the Welch and Reece families have been given that joy.
Alyssa and Trevor are a beautiful and amazing couple. They are grounded, yet so in love, and both of them radiate kind, humble spirits. Watching them together is to see joy, peace, and excitement at the same time. Alyssa has been the sweetest soul ever since I’ve known her, and I so admire how Trevor loves his new wife. As we finished photos, he asked her was there anything else she wanted to get pictures of and my heart melted. Pictures just typically aren’t a guy thing, and to see him wanting to make sure his bride’s day was perfect was just the sweetest. I know that’s the signature move for both of them. They put each other first and that’s one of the promises of a lasting and blessed marriage.
I also can’t say enough how the entire wedding party, friends, and both families came together to make this wedding happen beautifully. Trevor’s aunt made their cake, and Alyssa’s dad worked to rearrange the barn to accommodate the reception when cool weather and rain came in. It was a combined effort of so many to make the day run smoothly – and it did – perfectly. As I left, friends and family were talking, laughing, and busy taking down decorations and packing up memories of this beautiful event.
Alyssa and Trevor, I loved being a part of your beautiful day. I wish you years and years of love and happiness. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for you!! Love and blessings, Pat
