Fall is golden and beautiful, the perfect time for pictures of any kind. Nathan just wanted it to be a little cooler, and he got that wish for sure. AND he did AWESOME. It was such fun to photograph him, his sweet girlfriend, and his family. Nathan is so easy going and such a good sport that just he himself made the session fun, but when you add the banter of everyone else, I loved every minute of it.
We did pictures for Nathan when he was a toddler. He was stinking cute then, and has grown up in a flash into such a handsome and all around fantastic young man. It happens so fast. I remember my shock when I saw him walking through the middle school as a 7th grader. He laughed at me when I told him I couldn’t believe he was already a teenager. I know for him it probably didn’t feel so fast. (When I was a kid, it felt like it was 6 years from one Christmas to the next, and I thought my parents were off their rocker when they said time was flying. Now I couldn’t agree more.) Nathan was an awesome student and was a kid who you just knew you could count on. He didn’t make waves; didn’t draw attention to himself, but he still had a good time and seemed to just enjoy life.
Now suddenly he’s a Senior, with big dreams, and broad shoulders, but still that same awesome smile and easygoing attitude that makes everyone just love being around him. And the funny thing was that even with all his awesome attitude that I have not been exaggerating, he pushed back when his mom brought out a tie. We finally convinced him it would look awesome. When I showed him the back of the camera after we did them, I had to laugh because I saw the shocked look on his face that confirmed we were right. He is definitely a good sport.
Speaking of sports, #15 loves football, and is an important part of our awesome Allen County Patriot team. He’s played just about every position since he starting playing Little League in Kindergarten. But now, he’s playing his favorite position, Defensive Corner. I know Nathan approaches football just like he does life. He’s doing what it takes to get it done right and well; he takes it all in and enjoys every minute of what is happening around him. #15, you are definitely a Patriot, in every sense of the word.
Nathan, you are going places, and I think everyone who knows me would join me in saying, the world needs more young men like you. I think you are awesome, and I know your family is so proud of you. I already know that you are enjoying this last year of high school, but I still want to say to take it all in because it will be gone in a flash. I wish you every happiness under the stars and success in every thing you do.
Blessings, Pat
These are awesome, Pat! Thank you so much!
You are very welcome. I really enjoyed being around all of you and doing them.
