I’ve known Hailey’s family since I was a kid tagging along quite often when her grandpa was preaching revivals all over the place.
And now, what a blessing it is for me to see that love and hard work come full circle with the next generation of Shirleys.
Time is a thief, and we know that it doesn’t spare any of us. The days can be long, but the years are certainly short. That is proven over and over as we watch kiddos grow into beautiful adults seemingly overnight. I remember Hailey as a little girl bouncing around, and today she’s a lovely young lady whose life is about to change. That beautiful ring on her finger promises that Ben wants to be by her side until they are rocking on the front porch. And just like time itself, their engagement is flying by….
Speaking of engagements, I absolutely love doing engagement sessions!! And when it’s a couple that literally embodies the vision of what love looks like that makes it even better….. I appreciated every moment we spent together, the way you trusted my choices of locations based on light as a top priority, and the easy conversation we had the whole time. You two are an amazing couple, and I know you have the brightest future together. When you told me that you were friends first, it made me so happy, because friends make the best companions when those long days come around. Respecting the person you are about to marry is one of the best blessings, and I can tell that respect forms the basis of this relationship.
Hailey and Ben, I’m thrilled to photograph your wedding in September! You made my job so easy last week, and I can’t imagine how much fun it will be to capture your big day!! It will be here before you know it, and I’m ready. Love and blessings, Pat
Please enjoy some of my favorites from Hailey and Ben’s engagement session in Glasgow. I hope you love these as much as I do.
