Sometimes the stars just line up, and the leaves turn on cue. That’s what has happened this year. We are all aware that it is definitely still 2020, but we have also witnessed the deepest crimson reds, amazing melon oranges, and the prettiest yellows this fall. I love it second only to a deep snow made for breathtaking pictures. If anyone ever doubts that there truly is a higher power, you only have to look and the magnificent show of nature to know that it couldn’t possibly be random.
And neither is the joy shared by Whitney, Jacob, River, and Ryder. Whitney wanted to begin with a few pictures of all four of them, and the boys did amazing. I’m pretty sure they earned the treat they were promised. I love seeing when soon to be blended families appreciate and enjoy being around each other. It’s truly a blessing, and one that I personally enjoy myself as well. When you fall in love with someone who is already a parent, it’s just as sweet, but it takes on a different meaning. I can tell that Whitney is already a part of this crew, and the best is yet to be. Who knew when you went on that first date, that it would lead to diamonds and little boys?
Here’s hoping that 10-9-21 is just as beautiful as the afternoon that we did these pictures. One thing we know is that time is flying and no matter the weather, your day will be perfect because you will be promising forever with the one who makes you whole. Whitney and Jacob, I hope that you are able to slow down through this next year and enjoy all the flurry of excitement and activities. Before you know it, you’ll have wedding rings on, and your sweet family will be headed into the next chapter. I can’t wait to be there to capture it all for you. Love and blessings, Pat
