We crossed our fingers that it would not rain.

Because it feels like it’s done this spring is rain.  And to our surprise, the sun was shining beautifully.  It made for such an enjoyable afternoon with Jamie and Stefanie.

These two love to have fun, and their antics make me laugh constantly.   Love, laughter and joy is truly a gift that none of us should take for granted.  Sometimes life takes twists and turns that are unexpected,  but that constant still remains.   We all make mistakes in this thing called life.  But we are all in search of a place that feels like home, a sense of belonging, and the peace of truly understanding another person.  Jamie and Stefanie have found that in each other.  Since I married Billy Joe, I’ve watched James grow from a 15 year old through all the ups and downs of life and across the broken roads to find his way.   I’ve known and loved Stefanie and her fun personality since I moved to Scottsville years ago.  She and Jamie -JoJo- are paving a new road together, and they are both excited for the future.

When it’s family, it hits a little deeper.  I photograph engagement sessions all over the place, and have for nearly 30 years.  And yet, with every session it feels new and recharges me with energy and how blessed I am to be able to capture important moments.  When it’s my own family, it feels like an extra gift to me to be able to help them create new memories that they will cherish forever.  It was such fun for me to watch them excited to see their photos, and I’ll also get to see them hung on their walls too.

James and Stefanie, we love you both.  Your smiles are sweet to see, and we are thankful for the happiness that you two share.  We will ring those wedding bells soon, and you will begin another chapter in this thing we call life!!!           Love and blessings, Pat
