When you live in Florida and only have a small window for photos, you make it work, even if you aren’t quite finished when the H2O starts to fall. Stacia and Jeremy didn’t bat an eye when the drops fell. We all moved a bit faster, but if you check out the photos with rain falling in them, you’ll see that we did quite a bit during that time. And we all breathed a sigh of relief when we finished before the storm hit.
It was the Saturday before Labor Day, and Stacia and Jeremy were home to visit Stacia’s family and celebrate her dad’s birthday. …Speaking of her parents, they’ve both told me how thrilled they are for the happiness in Stacia’s eyes. You see, a parent just knows when it’s right. They see beyond the romance and early wooing. And sometimes, they are scared for their child. Even with absolute devotion and love – every marriage will endure incredible tests. There are many times we may not like the person we love. (Sometimes we don’t even like ourselves…) Occasionally we bite our tongue so hard it hurts. It’s those tough times that test our resolve, and parents know it’s coming… Not to sound negative, I’m just being realistic based on a few years on this earth. And so you see, when a parent sees happiness, and knows that the person who is going to promise forever to their child is the right one, it’s the best feeling ever. I’d say second only to salvation. So Jeremy – I know you have two votes in your corner, and with Stacia’s love – that’s three. Those three are a majority in any book.
Here’s hoping that your joy remains constant, and that every dream comes true. I am honored that you asked me to capture this time in your life, and I can’t wait to see your vision for your wedding. Most of all, I’m excited to see how your future unfolds. I know it will be a blessing to all who know you. Love and blessings from Kentucky, Pat
