Sierra and Noah lived within a few miles of each other for years and had no clue the other existed.
But that small problem has now been remedied, and the future Mr. and Mrs. Shirley are busy planning a wedding these days. It all goes to show that we simply have no clue what or who the future holds. I love hearing the story of how couples find each other, and so often, they find each other as a wonderful surprise. Sometimes it’s the opposite – they’ve known each other since the beginning. But no matter how it happens, when you find that person who makes you smile even on a bad day, it’s one of life’s best blessings.
We had the best time doing this session! Both Sierra and Noah were open to anything I suggested, and that made my job so easy. These two were such fun to be around and our time together passed so quickly. I don’t know how I keep coming up with the absolute best couples to photograph, but it’s something I don’t take for granted. I’ve known Noah’s family all my life, but Sierra quickly felt like I’ve known her forever too. That’s exactly how I like it. It’s such a joy to me when I get to capture important moments that folks will look at many years from now.
And speaking of those special moments… Sierra and Noah, I can’t wait to photograph your wedding next year. I know you’ll both be super busy in the next months because the engagement season of life is not only exciting, but full of major life decisions and a flurry of activities. Here’s hoping you love every second of it, and I’ll see you next October on the other side of my lens. Love and blessings, Pat
