Rebecca + Trey | A Port Oliver Engagement Session in the Winter

Weddings Engagements

Rebecca and Trey’s laughter is what I will always remember from this session.

Almost from the first shutter click, their eyes were constantly lighting up, and their happiness literally overflowed and wrapped us all in warmth.  It made my heart know that Becca has found her true soulmate and the one who completes her.  What a blessing, and what they said to me was that they couldn’t believe they didn’t know each other before now.  Even though they grew up in different counties, both their dads coach ball and they literally had to be in the same places so many times….  It just goes to show that the timing of our lives is somewhat out of our hands.  When it’s right, things will happen.

For me, last Saturday ended with two engagement sessions, and I was beyond excited to get back at it after what feels like a colder than normal winter of being pinned up indoors.  Port Oliver is flooded as you might imagine, so that created a situation where we had to search a little deeper for a variety of locations that had the perfect light for photos.   Fortunately Port Oliver is blessed with a forested area that includes trails, plenty of ever green undergrowth, and beautiful pines.  So when we found that light drifting through the trees, we made good on it, and I’m thrilled with the results.

Trey and Rebecca, I so enjoyed your laughter in this session, and I’m thankful for the joy that you two have found in each other.  Here’s to a beautiful wedding this summer!!  I hope you love my favorites from your engagement session.

Love and blessings,  Pat
