This year has seen huge changes with weddings, and they have not all been bad. While nearly every person alive has had their typical lifestyle heaved into the wind, some pretty cool things have happened too. It’s not bad to have less stress and just more love.  The Uhls’ said “I do” in June, and wanted wedding photos – and I was thrilled to do them.  I kept telling Rachel and Luke that I felt like I was cheating – getting to take these photos in the perfect light without the whole wedding.

I remember both Rachel and Luke when they were kids; and both were amazing then.  Lots of mornings, I’d be caught behind the bus and Rachel and her little sister would be either waiting by the road or in their dad’s truck waiting.  In no time flat, they are both grown and now Rachel is a mother and married.  And can I just say that she was a gorgeous bride!!  And Luke also lives a bit down the road from us and what I’ve always admired about him is his level thinking and how he always seemed to know exactly what he wanted – and he wasn’t afraid to work to get it.

And what Luke wanted was Rachel, and now she’s his; he is hers.  I was so excited to hear about their marriage and even more excited to do these photos.  I wish you two nothing but love, laughter, and happiness.  I know you are amazing parents to Bristol, and she is also blessed with your wedding.  Love and blessings,  Pat
