Kayla + Logan | A Beautiful June Wedding at The Glea

All Things Couples & Weddings, Weddings Engagements

I don’t even have words to say how much I loved doing this wedding for Kayla and Logan!!  From the moment I saw them together, I knew that it would be a day filled with love and joy.

These two….. Kayla and Logan are the absolute easiest to photograph and to just be around.  They are both down to earth and no fuss or frills.  But that doesn’t mean their wedding was anything less than stunning.  I loved Kayla’s vision for the day, and the fact that they actually made their own welcome sign.  That comes from Kayla’s years of helping her dad with contract work on the side, and I’m guessing there’s not much she wouldn’t tackle if she decided to build something.  I was incredibly impressed in listening to her dad talk about how proud he was of her and how much he missed those days when she tagged along with him on his weekend side hustles.  That has translated into a skill set that will serve her the rest of her life.  And oh the memories… it was such a joy to listen to him describe her work ethic and personality.  It confirmed what I saw from the moment I met her.

Logan came through JEBMS after I became the school counselor, and I remember noticing his easy manner of going through the day.  He was one of those guys who could be counted on to simply be doing what was needed and expected without making big waves.  That hasn’t changed over the years. Logan has grown up into an amazing young man, and it always thrills my soul to see when former students are making those next steps and find their soulmate.  With Kayla, Logan has definitely found that person.  They both have an entrepreneurial\agriculture background built on hard work and that shines through in both their personalities, their dreams, and who they both are to the core.  Honestly, when I think of them as a couple, it seems that they are both wise beyond their years, and I can not imagine what  that is going to translate into in the future.

I wish you both the life you’ve dreamed of, the joy you deserve, and the perseverance to make it through all the trials that will certainly come.  I know you will do great things, and I also know that you will both work hard.  I was honored to photograph your wedding.    Love and blessings,  Pat
