Barren River State Park is a beautiful place to celebrate just about anything, including the fact that Kaleb Saltsman is nearly finished with his senior year. I’m not sure how much his family is ready for this new chapter in his life, but he most definitely is.  And isn’t that how life works?  We can’t wait to move on to the next chapters of our life, and then suddenly we want time to slow down.

Kaleb did an amazing job with his senior pictures.  It’s not a guy thing for the most part, but he handled it like the kind young man he is.  At the end he told me that it wasn’t like he had thought it would be – and that made my day.  It’s ok that not everyone gets excited about a camera snapping at them for an hour, but I’m always thrilled when I hear that it really wasn’t bad.  And then after that, Kaleb made a comment about trash on the side of the road.  That finished it up.  I like this young man!!  I could tell through the entire session that he was really someone who had integrity and quiet determination.  He has values and that is what makes the difference in our lives.  I think there’s a song that says something like if you don’t stand for something, you’ll fall for anything.

I wish you success and joy in everything you do Kaleb.  You are a fantastic person, and I know that you will do great things in your future.  Your family and all who know you will be cheering for you every step of the way!  Blessings to you!! Pat
