He looks really cool in a suit, but he’d rather have on a t shirt, shorts, and a pair of crocs. I quickly found that Coleman Deckard was an open book, and that book was definitely a comedy. I had such fun doing his senior session. It’s really important to me that every senior feels heard and understood whether they love urban and gritty settings or wide open blue skies and pastureland. Coleman was definitely a guy who loves the country scene.
And as you might expect, he’s pretty easy going, but also knows what he does and doesn’t like. Unless he’s running down the football field for the Glasgow Scotties, he’s way more at home in the middle of open land. You might find him with a pair of muck boots which he won’t mind testing out in the creek at all. When we discussed his session, he wanted fields, water, and a barn. I didn’t have a bit of trouble finding all three, because we live right in the middle of it all. Country life is what I love too, so we had plenty to converse about during Coleman’s session.
Coleman, you were a blast to photograph. I hope that you have an amazing senior year and that all your dreams come true. In just the short amount of time I spent with you and your mom, I already know that you are such a hard worker. I know that you will go after what you want in life with every ounce of energy you have. That is just one of the great qualities of the guy you are. I also appreciate your kindness and fun personality, and I hope that you never change that. Blessings, Pat
