CJ and Kyle’s wedding at the beautiful Loralee Venue was full of love, laughter, and fun. Every couple’s personality is different, and what I will remember most about this wedding is how much the new Mr. and Mrs. Blankenship love life and their friends/family. They planned their wedding to perfectly showcase their joy of life. And some of it just spontaneously happened because of their awesome personalities, but all of it was just perfect.
One memorable and sentimental moment was when someone came to get CJ and said, “You have to come and see this.” You see, CJ’s grandfather passed away two years ago, and the current owners of his 68 Ford Falcon had driven it to the wedding. The bride was overwhelmed, and so were most of us watching. One theme that came through over and over with this couple was their love and respect for their family and friends, and it’s clear that so many people feel the same way about them. I was struck by what a kind gesture it was that the current Falcon owners brought it to the most special day of CJ’s life.
On June 1, 2019, there was not a cloud in the sky, not even one of those which give a brief moment to grab some shots without sun grins. I can’t say enough about how accommodating the entire wedding party was about doing some photos deep into the reception because that’s when the sun finally started sinking enough to get the glow we needed. CJ and Kyle enjoyed a first look, which allowed them to join their reception immediately, but I knew we HAD to get some more shots, and they were all amazing about smiling at the camera a few more times. It is couples and wedding parties like this that make what I do such a blessing. Sometimes we have to move things around based on the outside conditions, and this crew was absolutely the BEST ever!!
CJ and Kyle, I was honored to photograph your wedding. It was beautiful from beginning to end, and you two were as well! I see the joy and love you have in your relationship, and I’m so glad you found each other. You are perfect together. I pray that you have decades of love, laughter, and perseverance when times get tough. Love and blessings, Pat
When I arrived at the wedding venue, Adrianna Fox was working hard to create beautiful styles for CJ’s wedding. She did an awesome job!
CJ and Kyle’s parents all worked so hard to make their wedding dreams a reality. And that work continued after the reception, with some good help from friends too.
