I Do at the Barn at Richmond, KY, was the perfect backdrop for Amber and Corwin’s gorgeous wedding on July 27th.
These two are full of antics, and it’s easy to see that their lives are full of equal amounts fun and hard work. I have great admiration for folks who go for their dreams with determination, and those who serve our great nation. Amber and Corwin both have the perseverance to do the tough things…. Amber’s dad spoke of seeing her as a bride and how it sank straight into his heart. It’s a bit more typical to see her with a horse shoe in her hand and some dirt smudged across her brow. It’s knowing that strong side of her that made Corwin’s bride even more beautiful. And speaking of strength, thank you for your service Corwin. We know that it is a sacrifice that the rest of us can never truly understand the depths of and it lives inside the one who has served forever. We should all be eternally grateful for the men and women who have served to protect us.
Every love story is unique, but is also as timeless as love itself. A few years ago, Amber and Corwin worked together to build a farrier service and in the meantime something happened that they didn’t expect; they fell in love. Life has a way of doing that for us. And just when we aren’t expecting it at all. In addition, they have combined their families beautifully and we all know that’s not exactly easy. Children deserve parents who love them and fight for them, who give them not everything they want, but a place to call home.
Amber and Corwin, I was honored to photograph your beautiful wedding. I loved how you made it your own; it fit your personalities to the T. Here’s hoping you navigate through life’s ups and downs with the grit and determination that your best man, maid of honor, and dad speeches told us all about. You both are strong and vibrant separately, but together – you are certainly an amazing force. Thank you for asking me to be a small part of your wedding. I hope you cherish the memories of this day forever. Love and blessings, Pat
