Alex and Caleb’s Downtown engagement session was one of the first this spring and I was so excited with the results.  Because spring could not make up her mind about what to do, we had a hard time finding an afternoon with the right weather at golden hour.  I can say with confidence that it was worth the wait.  Alex carefully planned her outfits and they were perfect.  I loved both the long flowing dress and their casual too.  I dragged them all over our town and their sweet attitudes and smiles never wavered.

This girl has Caleb wrapped all up and it’s awesome to witness.   I loved being around them because they are so sweet together and the way they treat each other shows their love and dedication to this relationship.  It was so easy to photograph their joy; it’s all over their faces and you can’t hide that level of commitment.

This session was the epitome of spring blooms.  We found so many and used them.  I will wear a bloom out shooting under, above, in front of and beyond the blooms.  To me, they symbolize the beauty and joy that I love to capture in life.  This is especially relevant in beautiful and young couples like Alex and Caleb.  Those blooms are a reminder that life renews itself each spring, and they are a promise of things yet to come.

I admire so much about these two including their working for their future and planning together.  When two hearts and souls work together, anything is attainable, and I know the sky is the limit for Alex and Caleb.

Alex and Caleb, next fall will be here before you know it, and I can’t wait to photograph your wedding.  I know that it will be a joyous and beautiful ceremony because it will reflect the very essence of who you both are.  Thank you for trusting me to be a part of that day!    Love and blessings,   Pat
