Taylor + Austin | A September Wedding at The Barn at 3M Farms

Weddings Engagements

It was a beautiful day for Taylor to marry the love of her life at The Barn at 3M Farms. The day flowed perfectly; it was as if a magic wand had brought every detail together effortlessly. We all know that behind the scenes, there’s an insane amount of hard work, coordinated efforts of many vendors and family, and months of thoughtful planning. But on September 21, it came together like a dream. And what was extra beautiful about this wedding was the joy and happiness of everyone there. It was the right moment for Taylor and Austin to move to the next chapter of their lives. They did just that – and beautifully – with the love and support of an overflowing Barn at 3M Farms.

There are many things I’ll remember about this gorgeous wedding; the joy, the love, and more than one tear sliding down a cheek –  as Rhett says.  One moment that will always stand out is when Gage, Austin’s best man, spoke of the character of his friend.  He spoke of the time when he was at his lowest point, and Austin came every day and made him get out of the house and do something.  Austin knew that’s what Gage needed, even when he didn’t realize it himself.  And isn’t that the duty of every friend, but so often we don’t make the time to share our time with our friends. Austin shared his time with Gage, and Gage is eternally grateful.  That story speaks volumes of his character, and while none of us is perfect, it tells us all that Taylor has married a man of compassion and kindness.  This would be the hope of every father and mother, that their daughter love someone who gives of himself, and then gives some more.

Taylor and Austin, I will always remember your wedding with a smile.  And my hope is that throughout the rest of your life you will look at your photos and smile too.  Most of all, I pray that your home will be filled with love and laughter, through the good and bad, the joy and heartache, and that you share each other’s burdens and blessings equally.  You are an amazing and beautiful couple.  I’m so blessed to share some of my favorite people with you, and I was honored to share this day too.   Love and blessings to you both,    Pat

It’s all in the details, and remembering them for years to come is all a part of the wedding joy.  Taylor’s dress was nothing short of stunning, and it matched her personality perfectly.

It was “The one where Taylor gets married,” and the joy of everyone involved was one of the most genuine I’ve ever seen.  A wedding can be stressful, but careful planning, and choosing folks to help makes the day so different.  I’d like to think that even though it was hectic, because of Kelly at Hobdy’s Too for the inside florals, John Hall outside florals, and Melanie Knous with planning, the entire family was able to relax just a bit and take in the day.

Taylor’s dad hadn’t seen her dress.  There was more than one tear on all sides, including me.   I think Greg summed it up perfectly when he said, “It’s hard because it’s going to be different, but that’s how it’s supposed to be.”  And isn’t that the beauty of life, all the seasons of our lives roll beautifully and often painfully into the next season.  And then that season brings its own beauty and joy.

This is one of the few times that Kylar and Briggs were apart the whole day.  They became buddies fast, and their sweetness just added to the day.

I don’t even have the words for how touching this moment is.  Taylor and Austin chose to not do a first look, so this moment was just perfect.

Taylor and Austin are still a house divided.   I’m not sure how a gator and a wildcat are going to coexist, but I’m sure they will figure it out.
