Wesley gave Megan his heart. Then he gave her a ring.
It’s the little things that let you know when it’s the real deal. I knew it was true love when Wesley wore jeans for pics because Megan asked him to back in 2022 when they had photos made at Megan’s grandmother’s. That session told me all I needed to know, and three years later, it’s happening.
These two are the sweetest couple. I’ve known them both since they were kids, and I would have never dreamed they’d find their way to each other. It’s the craziest thing how that happens over and over. When I was school counselor, I told so many heartbroken middle schoolers that they probably had never even considered who they might marry. And many of them hadn’t even met their love yet. And we all know how that is; you think your world has ended because your crush in history class just broke up with you. But the world keeps turning, and you figure out later that they weren’t really who you should have been crushing on to begin with. It’s a part of growing up, a part of our stories. And it makes us who we are.
Megan and Wesley have always been such fun to be around, and they are both simply amazing individuals. Their hearts are big, and their love for each other is equally big. It was such an honor when they asked me to photograph their engagement session and wedding. October will be here before we know it, and these two will put those wedding bands on their fingers. I’m thrilled to capture it all. Stay tuned….
Meanwhile, please enjoy some of my favorites from their engagement session at Wesley’s family farm. This place took my breath. It was so peaceful and the PERFECT place to capture this moment in their lives.
