Samantha and Ryan.
They share two beautiful children, and now they will share forever. The celebration of this couple was one that warmed my heart to the core. The amount of work that goes into pulling off a wedding is not for the faint of heart. And this one was beautiful and sweet all at the same time.
Ryan’s family lives pretty close to me, and I always smile when I think of watching them grow up. If I didn’t time leaving home just right, I’d be hanging out behind the bus when that line of little kids would load. They were stairsteps, and Ryan was the youngest boy. Then as the years passed, I had most of them in class. Watching kiddos grow up has been one of the biggest blessings of my life. I continue to be blessed to photograph so many former students as adults, which lets me keep up with the next generation of kiddos. Samantha and Ryan are the perfect example of what I mean. And aren’t they simply a beautiful couple?
I loved being a tiny part of this couple’s wedding story. It’s a story that that will be remembered and shared for years to come. Wedding stories may go a month, or even a year without being mentioned, but if you think about it, they pop up here and there when it’s time to remember. Some parts of wedding stories are overcoming struggles; some are celebrations of success, and some are sharing actual details of the wedding itself. Beautiful photos and videos are one way that families keep that story alive for future generations to come. It is always a joy to me when I get to be included in that.
To the newest Mr. and Mrs. Stinson, thank you for allowing me to photograph your wedding! I’ll always remember your day with a a tug to my heart. I hope you love your photos and that they help you tell your wedding story to your grandchildren many years from now. I wish you years of love and laughter and overcoming life’s struggles. Love and blessings, Pat
