Emily knew exactly which dress she wanted for her wedding, and it, along with every other detail was simply perfect..
It was also velvet and a nontraditional sage green. I knew that she would make this wedding her own, and she did in the most classy way. One thing that is such fun is how many brides are changing up the norm and creating their own rules about weddings. Emily and Scott did so many things differently, but what was the same – (and most important) is how their love for each other has grown into a joy that has transformed both their lives in both a unique but also ancient way, that goes back to the beginning of time itself. The way they look at each other, and how they respect each other is truly a blessing to all who know them.
Emily promised to never ask Scott to sell his jeep (mostly because she knows she looks good in it LOL), and Scott promised to stand by her through thick and thin. The ceremony is simple and from the heart. And then they came down the aisle to hundreds of flower petals that were breathtaking. Every part of this wedding was spot on.. The dance, the doughnuts, and the firepit were a fun part of what will live in Emily and Scott’s memories for their lifetime.
Emily and Scott, thank you for allowing me to be a small part of this most important day in your lives. You have been blessed to find each other, and I was blessed to see the fruition of your hard work and the happiness this relationship has brought not only to you, but also to your whole family – and especially Emily’s boys. I know they all join me in wishing you every success, happiness, and years and years of hiking and climbing in this or that trail. Your joy is our joy!! Love and blessings, Pat
