Megan is the most unassuming, sweet, and all around awesome ACS Senior ever. I love just being around her. She doesn’t get upset about anything and always has the best attitude; it doesn’t matter what is happening all around her, Megan is Megan. Her personality is golden, and she’s a doll too.
One important aspect of Senior pictures is to incorporate places and items that are special to each senior. For Megan, it was super important to do pictures with her grandfather’s tractor that her Uncle David had restored. So of course, we had to also do some in the field and around the barn some. And Megan, in true Megan form, graced us with her “bird walk” a couple of times. I can promise you when she breaks out into that, you are going to laugh, and laugh some more. And that’s just Megan. She appears so calm and always, always is so sweet, but you give her a second and the comedian will come out. Megan, that’s one of my favorite things about you.
I was honored to photograph this special time in Megan’s life. Being a senior is much more important than any of us realize at the moment. It’s later that the reality of how life has changed begins to settle in. Then the crowded halls, picky teachers, and nights of homework and hanging out too late with friends become a memory – and hopefully a pleasant one.
So live it up Megan. Take in every moment, every joke, every last sound in the halls before this time passes. I hope this year is awesome for you and that your memories are all laced with laughter. Love and blessings, -Pat
