They are the sweetest couple. I was honored to photograph Chris and Lindsay’s wedding last Saturday at Old Mulkey in Tompkinsville. It was the perfect venue, and amazing weather. That’s always a great combination on your wedding day….
Lindsay was my student just a few years ago, and it was wonderful to reconnect with her and see her family. The peace and happiness I see in her eyes brings me joy, and I know it certainly does her parents and family. As the Tracy’s were promising forever, I kept thinking about the blessing of marriage and how hope springs eternal. We often find love when we think there’s no chance. If we are patient and look around, we are continually amazed by how things seem to just work out. And even the tears, the wrong roads taken, and the heartache that comes to literally all of us in some form or fashion all work together to make us who we are. All that to say this: I’m so thankful that Chris and Lindsay have found each other. It’s a beautiful thing to see.
Chris and Lindsay, here’s hoping that you have nothing but happy memories as the years roll by. You already know that sometimes life serves up some sour lemons, but you have definitely made the sweetest lemonade ever. Your joy brings others joy, including me. Love and blessings, Pat
