On June 18th, Abigail and Andrew promised forever in front of a beautiful crowd of family and friends.  The Ashley Inn was the perfect place for their nuptials, and the day was simply perfect.  When you consider that the days before and after their wedding were literally a June heat wave, it’s amazing that their wedding day sported low humidity and brought with it a wind that cooled even more.  It made the smiles a little deeper and our steps much lighter too.

After a touching wedding ceremony, Andrew and Abby wowed their guests with a beautiful dance, and every dip and turn was on point through the entire song.  They practiced and the perfection of their first dance left Abby beaming at the end, and the rest of us in awe for sure.  And then Abby’s dance with her dad, and Andrew’s with his mom were both so sweet and tugged on our hearts just a bit.

I can not say enough about Abby, Andrew and their entire wedding party’s willingness to do anything we suggested for photos.  They walked here and there, laughed on command, moved multiple times because of the sun, and handled it all with grace and genuine smiles.  The beauty of The Ashley Inn venue made it so hard for us to stop taking photos, because everywhere you look, there was something else perfect for a photo.  When you add a gorgeous and happy bride and groom, I was literally in heaven.

Abby and Andrew, I was so blessed to photograph your wedding! It was beautiful from beginning to end and your love is precious to see.  As I watched Andrew lose his battle to fight back tears when his bride came down the aisle, I was reminded that life is still beautiful in the midst of all the storms we endure.  We all know that with every single marriage, there will be hills and valleys, but I hope that you will always remember how you felt on this day, and that your eyes battle happy tears many, many times as the years roll by.   Love and blessings,  Patricia
