Kassidi and Wyatt promised forever on May 28th, and it was such a beautiful wedding.
Saturday dawn to a bank of clouds that made preceremony photos so clean and deeply saturated. Although it doesn’t completely give you wide open choices, it certainly makes it easier to photograph in a wide open field in early afternoon. When you add an amazing wedding party and family, I was in photography heaven. Both Kassidi and Wyatt were absolute gems to work with. Their kindness and willingness to do anything I asked made the Lyles wedding such fun to photograph. Even when the sun came out after the ceremony, they didn’t blink when I asked them to walk a bit of a distance across the field to the best glowy light. The result were some golden lighted photos that I hope they will enjoy showing their family and friends for years to come.
I love the trend of bridesmaids’ dresses not completely matching but coordinating beautifully, and tones of blush are never wrong in my book. Those paired with adoring sisters and cousins are the perfect bridal party. These ladies and little girls were beautiful inside and out. And can I give a shoutout to the groomsmen too?? They were amazing too! They were also willing to do anything I asked, and did so with fun energy that came shining through in these photos, right down to the cool “ring security” who took his job quite seriously. I always enjoy meeting new people, and I found that this group of guys and ladies was just spectacular.
Kassidi and Wyatt, I was thrilled to photograph your wedding. Your kind natures and joy was so apparent to me, and I know you will have happiness for years and years to come. I loved how you worked together, laughed together, and shared sweet time with your families all day. We all know that life has a way of throwing giant curve balls at us, but when you are pulling on the same team, it makes overcoming those obstacles much easier. And you two are definitely on the same team. I wish you the very best success in everything you do, and I’ll always be over here cheering for you!! Love and blessings, Pat
