Allison and Mason are not in my personal family, but I could not be more proud of them if they were.

Their joy and hard work go hand-in-hand toward the future they are building. And they are pulling on the same team. They’ve had an equally amazing and exhausting May.  First, Mason graduated from SkyCTC with an industrial maintenance degree in early May.  Then their new home was in finishing touches and they moved in the next week, and finally a gorgeous wedding on May 21.  Those are all three HUGE life events that require lots of preparation, hard work, and brainpower too.  And these two handled them all with class and a big heart of thankfulness in the midst of all the hard work.  Their families provided amazing support and these Allison and Mason left for a well deserved honeymoon on the beach.

Allison and Mason, it was my blessing to photograph your wedding. It was beautiful from the sunny beginning to the blowing rain at the end.  You both amaze me and I couldn’t be happier that you found each other and love.  Allison I admire your servant’s heart that comes with your nursing profession, and Mason my heart bursts when I think of the man you have grown to be.  Watching that transformation has blessed my soul.  I wish you both complete success in everything, grit to persevere the hard times, and joy to share every single day.  Love and blessings,  Pat

Venue: Dugas Park; Brittany Fisher helped us so much and came the day of the wedding (on her day off) to make sure everything was working correctly

Photography: Pat Jackson with Pat Jackson Photography, LLC; she is the sweetest soul and does everything she can to get all of the most special, most beautiful pictures!

Decor and flowers: Mr. John Hall; he met with me several times to make sure I loved everything he was putting together, came to the rehearsal to see where we wanted things, made THE MOST beautiful bouquets and decorated our wedding to absolute perfection!

DJ: Brittney Bellamy Smith and husband Chad with Whole 9 Yards; I don’t even know where to begin with these guys… Met me twice to make sure everything was ready, came to the rehearsal with us to prepare for set up and BRITTNEY!!!!! She was literally a lifesaver at the rehearsal. I was about to have a mental breakdown when she stepped in and took over coordinating without question. Not only all of this, but they were SO MUCH FUN at the wedding! Played awesome music, had MY PARENTS on the dance floor which is hard to do!

Makeup: Summer Powell and Bailey Brown worked so hard to make us all look beautiful

Hair: Courtney Paige Kendall and Chelsea Nichols Stovall; these girls stayed late to make sure all of our hair wouldn’t move!! Courtney helped with my hair pieces and veil (that thing was so stubborn!)

Spray tan: Lindsey Edwards at SKYN SPOT; she did a phenomenal job on my tan! It was my first spray tan so I got a little bit worried with the bronzer but she continuously provided reassurance and tips!

Cake and desserts: Lisa Bearson; she makes some yummy cake yall!! She also catered our rehearsal and her food is so yummy!

Dinner: Sherri Dunn Skaggs with Enchanted Celebrations; her food absolutely hits the spot and while Mason and I couldn’t eat much due to visiting with family and friends at the wedding, her team made sure to make us a plate so we could at least attempt also got several compliments from our people on her and her food!

Robin John Severtson, I can’t thank you all enough… for raising me to be the woman I am today, for your love, support and encouragement, for making yesterday one of the best days of my life. We love you guys!!

Last, but definitely not least, our whole wedding party: Lindsay Crick, Kayla Wilson Shrum, Micayla Harper, Laura Harper, Kassie Nicole Brooks, Carly Anderson (my girls ); Jeremey Shrum, Jordan Smalling, Jaxon, Tyler, Grayson, Kaynen (Mason’s guys); Sayla and Paisley (flower girls); Gunner and Branson (ring bearers); Dylan Harper and Eli (ushers)… we love all of you and thank you all for being a huge part of our big day! Each of you hold a special place in our hearts and we cherish our friendships and relationships so much. Thank you for our bachelorette/bachelor parties, thank you for dealing with our headaches (mostly mine ), and thank you for showing up for us!
